Lynda maintains her blog, entitled Be Someone’s Hero, where she writes about craft, the author’s journey, and ordinary people accomplishing extraordinary things. This blog also includes Mentor Monday, where kid-lit professionals weigh-in on their mentors.
Knowing how rare it is for foster children to own their own books, Lynda began and is the administrator of “Book Train for Kids” which helps collect and distribute books to foster children.
Lynda Mullaly Hunt taught both third grade and sixth grade for almost ten years. She is also a former Future Problem Solvers Scenario Writing coach. Although she is now a full-time writer, she still misses being in the classroom.
